REAL Signs Of Pregnancy

Most people keep posting general stuff as signs of pregnancy, I mean stuff like backache, bloatedness, tiredness, etc. I get those signs anyway, preggies or not!! I only consider stuff like bleeding around a week after having had intercourse, or colour changes to your br___ts, as real signs. That's stuff that you don't experience normally. Are there any other real signs that one can look for before it is time for your period, to tell if you are pregnant?

Coincidentally, "REAL" signs can also be signs of other things. One of the biggest "REAL" signs is missing a period. And we all know, that women miss periods for a number of other reasons (diet, stress, onset of menopause, etc). That doesn't mean it isn't a real sign of pregnancy. And by the way, lots of women spot mid-cycle, and I'm sure it can happen to be a week after intercourse... so by your theory, that's not a "REAL" sign either. I doubt there's one sign of anything in this world that isn't also possibly a sign of something else. Sounds like you're telling all of us that our moods, cravings, cramps, etc aren't real just because YOU don't view them that way. You might want to re-think your att_tude before insulting the likes of the strong women on here.

each of us are different and have different symptoms of pms and pregnancy,i guess you just know when somethings different and not right for your own body, and alot of women dont have any symptoms at all-especially before its time for your period!

Jenny - January 11

I guess that would exclude you then from the likes of strong women, because strong women aren't touchy and mean.

kat - January 11

jenny she probably has pms or is pregnant, lol!

get real - January 11

pregnant thank you! and every single symptom i've had was REAL!! And Jenny, the only thing that was missing from your response is "i know you are but what am i????" do NOT tell other women their signs aren't REAL!!

Get a life! - January 11

I think Get Real is confusing being pregnant with being menopausal!!! She certainly is indeed VERY TOUCHY! Get a life, sweetheart, you are WAY to tense! Do NOT tell other women what NOT to say, man!! This is not a cla__sroom, it's a forum! Why don't you wwitch off your computer and have a lie down.

Get Real - She was only asking a question, not trying to insult anybody. Congrats on your pregnancy by the way! Jenny: If you have little raised bumps forming on and around your areola (Montgomery Tubercles) that's a pretty conclusive sign of pregnancy and can't be confused with PMS or anything like that. I won't take credit for that answer though, Grandpa Viv told me! Good luck! x

to "get a life" , you say "do not tell other women what not to say." hmmmmm, isn't that YOU doing what you say NOT to do??? yep, think so!! am i touchy? u bet ur a__s when somebody tells me my signs arent real. if u would settle down and read the original post you'd see this sentence -- "I only consider stuff like bleeding around a week after having had intercourse, or colour changes to your b___sts, as real signs." ----- excuse me, but who the hell is anyone to tell us our cravings and cramps aren't real signs????? obviously you aren't pregnant or you'd think the same thing. so get off of your high horse. and you think I'M confusing? how about your lack of intelligence in thinking that a person can be pregnant AND menopausal. Helllllooooooo????? Get some s_x ed sugar! it's funny how someone like me gets on and makes a good point, but one person makes a snide remark, so here come the legions to jump on a bandwagon, instead of having intelligence enough to comprehend my original post!

Get Real: Congratulations! Yes, you're right, with all my heart I wish it was me! If I go by kat's advice, then I'm probably not pregnant, because I don't feel pregnant. I never tried to insult you with implying that your symptoms weren't real, I was just trying to get more tips from other women who may have experienced things that can be considered crystal clear indications of pregnancy. I do believe that the stuff I mentioned are very real for most women and I respect that, but what I meant was that I want to know of anything else that could tell me without doubt that I can consider myself pregnant.

Whohaaaaaa!! Hold your horses Madam Get Real, you're gonna loose your baby if you don't calm down!! You must be expecting a little monster if it takes after it's mother!!

hope it helps - January 11

Jenny - with my first pregnancy i never got the bleeding or the colour change in my b___sts. so in some woman the only signs they do have at the sore b___sts, bloatedness, ect. it just depends on the woman and herself.

get real - January 11

to tiffany - wow aren't u friendly???? monster, you say? did you leave your education at home today? it's called defending myself. i'm sorry, i guess you've never done that or you would recognize it. grow a spine, and maybe you'd know what it's like to stand up for yourself when you feel you're being insulted! ------ to jenny, i see now. thanks for explaining! although, i'm not sure any sign can tell you without a doubt you're pregnant... well, except for childbirth. lol. good luck, i hope you are preg! ---- thanks for your congrats Sophie! --- Take a hike Tiffany, we're having an adult conversation here, your childlike insults serve no purpose.

What have I stumbled across here? I personally took offense to Jenny's original post too, as I suspect others probably also did! I agree that all signs are real, no matter whether or not they occur during PMS. Most pregnancy signs can be mistaken for PMS. So what? Nonetheless, Jenny explained herself, and it's over. As for Get A Life and Tiffany, you women need a friggin chill pill! If all you have to do is insult, and don't have the brains to make valid statements for either side of the issue, go to the teen forum. I believe there are plenty of silly arguments over there!

Tiffany - January 11

Get Real: One only has to defend yourself if you're being attacked, and that's hardly the case here! Jenny girl didn't attack you, she may have used the wrong word in saying "not real" - maybe she could've explained herself in a different way, but MAN! you're some piece of work! To be "defending" yourself against some anonymous posting on a forum! You've got issues, lady!

Jenny - January 11

This is not what I had in mind, I'm logging off. Sorry to those of you who took offense by my question. I've never been pregnant and I obviously underestimated the general tell tale signs that you all get. I will try to focus on those, because it doesn't seem to me there are anything else to go on. Thanks for all the positive and helpful remarks.

get real - January 11

Look, Tiffany.... you've jumped in someone else's battle, did some juvenile insulting, called an unborn child a monster (as well as the mother of that child, of whom you don't even know!), and judged everything about a poster in said anonymous forum...... but ok, you go ahead and convince yourself that I'M the one with issues! Whatever it takes for you to sleep at night. If you would have read the entire post, you'd see that Jenny DID explain herself, and I acknowledged that and thanked her for it. Again, you serve no purpose to this conversation!
