Kjones, I run about 5 miles, 5 times per week and I don't think it is a problem, but some runners have a very low BMI count (Body / Ma__s index) meaning a low % of body fat and sometimes this isn't good if you are TTC, if you are concerned, you should definately speak to your Dr. Good luck to you!!

it shouldnt harm you ttc but ive never been in your situation. i know if your preg. and you start spotting you should slow it down. maybe you feel that way cause your already pregnant? let hope!!!!!!

Hi kjones! I was a runner too (2 marathons/yr and 20 road races per year) and am about your size (5'3 / 112 lbs). When I decided to start TTC my OB/GYN said I would need to cut down the running and gain some weight to conceive. Keep in mind that I'm genetically this size anyway since my mother/sister are the same size, but the running definitely can slim you down. After 8 mos of TTC I started seeing a fertility specialist who confirmed that women who run more than about 16-20 miles a week can have problems conceiving - which is due to a low BMI (which chriss also pointed out). So, it's definitely ok to run but keep the mileage down and make sure you're eating healthy. Are you sure you're not already pg since you have the symptoms? Also, have you considering swimming or pool-running for a workout instead? If you are pg, the pool would be a lot easier on your body!

Thanks I just tested today with Clear Blue and Dollar brand and they were both positive thought the dollar tree one said negative at first and then went back to look and there was another line it was very faint though but the Clear blue defidently said "Pregnant" I am still going to excercise but not as much. Thanks Girls!

Congratulations!!! I hope you have a very healthy and happy 9 months! If you don't want to give up the running/exercise during your pregnancy - hit the pool - it'll keep you fit and make your delivery that much easier. Again, congratulations and good luck!!
