Outside the body, sperm typically survives for only minutes. In a hospitable environment, such as inside a woman's body, it can depend greatly on v____al fluid. During your most fertile time, sperm will survive longer than other, less fertile times. The answer to your question is yes and no. No, the sperm will not survive a period of several days. However, you can become pregnant at any point depending on when you ovulate. If your cycle is regular, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.

Same thing I think, does menstation clense the system, eliminating the sperm from a few days before you got your period?

Joey, the answer to your question is no. Menstruation is the shedding of the uterus lining. Conception/fertilization occurs in the fallopian tubes.

Fallopian tubes are not effected by the period then ?

No, Joey, they're not. I recommend you purchase "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It will explain everything.
