Should I Be Concerned

I've had two strange periods. My last regular period was Jan18. The one I had Feb 10 was only a day and a half long with just brown spotting and cm. I'm not due for my next period until Mar 5 and I have been spotting off and on since Sunday Feb 27 with Monday being the only day that I had no spotting and I never normally come at 18 days? I did do a urine test which I'm waiting for the result yesterday at my doctor's and have had many symptoms of being preg. A few weeks ago I had the sore nipples, lower backache and others but now I'm worried that how can I tell if its implantation bleeding or just a really early period as I'm normally 24 reg. This time though I've seen a little red flow but mostly brown and more yesterday. Could I have miscarried?. I sure hope not as this would be our first baby???

Also the next confusting part is when probably would I ovulate if this time it was 18 days and I'm reg 24?

if your not sure...you should ask your doctor for a blood test..it does sound like implantation to me but just wait a week after AF is due to test again or ask your doctor for a blood test..goodluck to you...

Thanks JB, I really appreciate your input and I agree with your advice that might be the best bet as I've tried the urine tests and nothing seems to show. Good luck to you too and keep in touch!!

I'm with you in hoping you are experiencing implantation bleeding over a more extended time period than most.If you had miscarried you would have had cramps and clots, which I don't see. The doctor test sounds more like a blood test than a urine test - urine tests are read immediately. If the blood test was quant_tative (a number) it will give some indication of how the pregnancy is progressing. Ask more questions at the doctor's. He can give a more informed opinion that we. Good luck!
