I would have conceived 27 days ago. Home pregnancy test is still negative. Does that mean I am definately not pregnant?

Hi Manda. Did your AF(Aunt Flo) already show up? Have you had any symptoms?

Hi Chila. My aunt flo was like 13 days late and when she did come it was not normal. Heavy bleeding then pink spotting. It was really different and lasted 4 days but I was not really having cramps with it. Mood swings, tired all the time and right b___st only has dark blue veins in them that I have never noticed before. I just feel different but so far no positive result. Should I just give up? My next period shouldn't be here until April 29th. Thanks a bunch. Manda

Hi Mandy, I don't think it was IB(Implantation bleeding) because that normally lasts a day and is usually light. It sounds more like an "inevitable miscarriage" which normally occurs within the first 20 weeks. That usually consists of heavy bleeding and cramping though, and you said you didn't have cramps? But the mood swings, fatigue, and veiny bbs are symptoms of pregnancy. But a friend of mine told me that she didn't know she was pregnant until after nine weeks and all her hpt's were negative. It wasn't until she went to see her Doctor and he did a blood test that she realized she was pregnant. If you miss your next AF, I would prob make an appt. to see your Doctor. Good luck!! I know how you feel.. I'm on my 3rd month of TTC.

Hey Manda, sorry I forgot to add that the reason the Doctor told her she got the negative hpt's is because every woman has different HCG levels.. and she had a low concentration, so that's why the tests were not able to detect the pregnancy. So, you never know.. maybe you might be.. the best thing to do is consult with your Doctor and have a blood test! Baby Dust to you!!

What does implantation bleeding look like and how much and how long does it last? Thanks

Hi Manda, Implantation spotting and/or bleeding is light bleeding that may occur about 7 - 10 days after ovulation or around the time of your expected period. Spotting will normally last a day and is lighter than your typical menstrual period and varying in color from red to brown. Not all woman experience implantation spotting/bleeding.
