Slow Rising HCG Levels

This month we tried clomid and injections. At day 12 a US showed 5 juicey cysts. I had my first HCG test on day 16 after Conception and it was 42, day 18 it was 45. Day 20 82. Could I have lost one of the cysts and that is why my numbers didn't look good. I have symptoms of pregnancy and no symptoms of a miscarriage. Could this be an ok pregnancy. Has anyone ever had this situation. I am just looking for hope.

There is enormous variability in hcG from one pregnancy to another. See ... http://www.obfocus.com/questions/qanda7.htm

just got a call from my dr. I found out I was pregnant on Monday 8/17 and my hcg level came in at 50. I went in on Thursday 8/20 for another blood test and it came in at 61. Dr said it can be 3 things, to early in pregnancy, sign of miscarring or etopic pregnancy. I have had no bleeding, just slight cramping and back pain but it not often and goes away after a few seconds. Does anyone have any advise?

All you can do Jess is just wait it out try not to worry, stressing won't do any good. No bleeding is a good sign, some cramping is normal early on.

Thanks Kimberly. Unfortunatly I miscarried on Sunday. Had some spotting and went to the Dr yesterday and she confirmed. My HCG levels dropped to 8 and my spotting turned into a menstural cycle. :( its been really hard to deal with but I'm trying to stay positive. I always say it could have been worse, it happened so early that I just need to wait it out before I can start trying again.
