SO. I have not gotten my period since Jan. 20. Today is April 21, 2008. Did a pregnancy test 3 days ago and tested positive. How far along can I be if I had gone to the dr. before and they told me I was not pregnant. But they only did a pee exam no blood work. I am confused. I think I feel the baby kicking but it might just be my mind... You think they'll do an ultrasound?

They definitely should do an ultrasound. If they don't plan to, I'd demand it. When did they check your urine? Congrats and good luck!

I doubt that you are 13 weeks pregnant without having enough major signs to bring you here weeks ago. Maybe you skipped a period and got pregnant recently. How many weeks ago did you realize your body was acting differently (other than skipped period)? At 13 weeks the doc should be able to hear a fetal heartbeat, but that is early to be feeling movement - maybe it is gas? Go back to the doc - she will probably do an ultrasound which will date the fetus to within a few days. Good luck!

You definitely need an ultrasound. I agree, that you should demand one. The doctor can bill your insurance, what do they care.

I have been feeling werid for a while now. I don't know the exact time frame. But I am very regular and like I said no period since January. I do have a 6 month old so maybe my body is not back to normail yet. I have an appointment on Thursday. I am thinking about not telling them my last menstrual period just so they really have to do the ultrasound.. I went to the doctor on March 20 and they did the urine test and it came out negative. I am extremely nauseous. I have the shooting pain on my b___sts. I have some of the same symptoms as my last pregnancy but more intense.
