Say you have just conceived. (not yet implanted) and you continue to "bed".. is there any possible way a little spermie could also wriggle into that fertilised egg sitting up there?? If not, how does your body know to not let another spermie into that fertilised eggie? Thanks xo

the egg which becomes a zygote after fetilization forms a hard shell after fertilization... no matter how many spermies try to enter after one (the strongest) has succeeded, they won't be able to. :)

Cool thanks krissy! Its pretty amazing, I am still in complete awe at our female bodies, Ive learnt a lot throughout ttc so far, but so much more out there to find out. Creating a little life inside of you really is a miracle, its pretty amazing.. no wonder there is an element of being a tad scared as well as excited about everything lol
