misti - October 11

Hope it is ok if i join i havent had a period since augest 26 but havent got a bfp only getting bfns what do u think?

Angel - October 11

sure you can chat.I think you should see a doctor that is way not normal. Sometimes the pregnancy tests you buy won't detect the hormone and it just gives negatives when you really are pregnant so I would go see a doctor.

misti - October 11

well i just lost my health in surance so i went to a clinic and they said they cant do bloode tests its just hard times i want to be pregnant but kinda bad timing i guess?

misti - October 11

oh and do u know if it is normal to be really horney lol sorry if tmi

Terri - October 11

i got the most wonderful news when i got home from the dr. our health insurance now covers fertility services, including IVF!! i hope we wont need it, but it takes a load off just knowing we have that option now! Welcome misti!

baby#3, I am probably about 24 dpo if I am thinking right. With my son, "the stick didnt turn blue" until I was almost 9 weeks pg, so i am wondering if the same thing could possibly happen now, that is another reason I kind of dont want to test. I appreciate your offer very much, i actually went and bought a test today, just because I am the type of person that if I get something in my head, then I am very stubborn about it lol. Not sure, but I do think I am sleeping heavier, the phone used to wake me up and I slept through it ringing for about an hour today (I slept right through my nephews dr appt that I was supposed to take him to). I felt really bad because I have always been the type of person with a kind of internal alarm clock, like if I know I need to be up at a certain time, I am up by then. No change in my b___sts though, sadly lol. I did notice earlier today that the veins in my legs where more prominent, but nowhere else. (I got that idea because it was one of your symptoms lol). Another thing I have noticed is that I smell a lot more, and they bother me. Like you know those runts candy? A girl came into work with some the other day, and I smelled them, and I had to walk away because it was overwhelming. I always have really vivid dreams though. Terri, good luck with the dr, and Angel I agree that he will bless us when its our time. So I will test in the morning, I just hope its not a bfn. I hate not knowing lol!!

HOPE - October 12

Hi Ladies. I found my way back to you after a week or so of not posting. Sounds good for some of you & very promising for others. Congrats limbo/#3! I went to the dr. found out I have polycystic ovary syndrome. Hard to get pregnant because of this. I have another doctors appt. in a couple of weeks. We are going to talk about fertility. (possibly start clomid) So, there is still hope. Just may take more work / committment / longer time frame than hoped. My hubby is 37 & concerned to be too old for a baby-his words-not mine! I am upset & afraid. I am not trying to stress over the top! Thanks for listening. I will keep track of you guys & wait to hear all the symptoms I need to watch for! Caongrats to you & good luck for a BFP!

Amanda - October 12

Yea! I found you! How is everyone doing today? I am getting near the end of my period. I probably have another day or two left. I am hoping it is done by this weekend so that I can have some fun.

Baby#3 - October 12

Misti, I was super horney! I couldn't get enough of my dh. I was all over him and he was not used to it but he loved every minute of it. Olivia, I am glad that you are testing again, especially since you didn't get a + until 9 weeks with your son. I would say it is very possible that the same thing is happening. You deffinetly have all the preg symptoms. My offer still stands if you want those hpt strips. Good luck to you. Hope, its good to hear from you again. That really sucks about the PCOS. It will still happen for you and I don't think it will take as long as you think, once you are on treatments then I am sure it will go farely well for you and your dh. Keep positive:o) Amanda, did you use the opks last month? I can't remember. If not you should really try them they pin point your ovulation to a T. I liked it when I used them and it worked!!!! Good Luck this month.

Amanda - October 12

Baby#3, no i didnt use any opk's. I think I will get some this month. Not sure yet. Can you buy them at the grocery store?

Lo - October 12

Hey guys I am in a similar boat. No AF since aug. 16th. And four BFN's. I haven't tested in a week. What do you think?

Baby#3 - October 12

Amanda, yes you can get them at any grocery store, keep in mind they are a little more expensive then hpt. I would order them online if you want to use them. They are much cheaper there. Lo, that is along time not to have a period and you have gotten all - hpt. I would put a call into your doctor and get a blood test done. There are many women who don't get there periods and get all - hpt and are infact pregnant. Really, you should not wait any longer cause if you are pregnant your baby needs the proper care. Best wishes.

to terri - October 12

hi terri , can u please tell me which insurance company is that, as i paid$1000 for my HSG testing.....

Angel - October 12

Hey!!! Hope!!!! I'm glad you all found me here! Hope what is it exactly that you have? I don't understand what that is. What does it mean? I have felt bloated, nasusa, very tired and peeing alot today. Starting today I'm writing down exactly how i feel so i can show the doctor. my belly b___ton hurts to(a little today)

HOPE - October 12

Angel-Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Alot of symptoms-irregular periods, lack of ovulation (even when I have a period), weight gain, high blood pressure---blah/blah/blah. Anyways, you can't get pregnant if you don't ovulate! So, I will see my dr. at the end of the month & hopefully start on fertility maybe in November. I had used CLOMID to get pregnant 5 years ago. I thought the PCOS was under control--until I went off the pill to get pregnant & then slowly the symptoms returned stronger. I will stay with you ladies & hope to hear all of your good news....& symptoms so when I do get pregnant---I'll know what I am looking for! **BABY DUST** sent your way!!

Terri - October 12

to whomever asked about my insurance...we have health alliance. i dont know what kind of plan we were switched to but it now covers infertility. i am sure we will have to pay some still cause we have a $1000 deductable to meet, and infertility coverage is only 80%. But I can deal with paying only 20%!! Hubby is really excited. I think we are going to do IVF since it has been nearly 3 years ttc. To HOPE: Ask your dr about being put on glucophage (yes, the diabetes med). I worked at a clinic that did clinical research studies. one of them was a PCOS trial. Most of the patients who went on glucophage got pg within months!! Losing weight (if overweight at all) also helped them get preg. Just some tips for you. Good luck to you!!
