Anyone who has had this happen...how did you know you needed to switch brands...Did you get pg symptoms?

What do you mean you need to switch brands? I switched kinds because I switched to one with no estrogen, because I kept getting thrush.

Some people are saying that they begin having problems with their brand of pill and need to switch and I was wondering if I am falling int his category or not

CA, I switched BC pills because they kept giving me nausea and wasn't helping with the cramping like they used to. I never felt that I was pregnant, just sick all of the time. My doctor told me that sometimes they have to switch people around because of the side affects that some people get from them. Did I help answer your question?

I had to switch brands once for cost reasons... the new ones made me so sick though (like flu sick, didn't want to get out of bed sick) that I switched back and forked out the extra money

yea, you can switch around and try all the different ones you want till you find the one your body likes. just make sure to take them CORRECTLY! But you should stay one one for at least 2 or 3 months to see how your body settles into that brand's hormones and strengths. Sometimes your body is just try to adjust to your new hormone levels and that might give you the bad prego symptoms.
