h__lo ! i have a quick question......... i've been charting all signs and am just confused about which day i actually ovulated and i want to know so i can count dpo. if my pre-ovulatory temps were around 97.6 or 97.7 and then yesterday it dropped down to 97.2 and today back up to 97.6 (last month the same thing happened. jumped up 0.4 to 97.6 and then another 0.4 the next day to 98.0 and stayed around 98.0 to 98.2 till af). so my question is.........did i ovulate on the day i had the dip (97.2) or today when i had the rise (97.6). not quite sure and i'm confused with all i'm reading on the internet. thanks for any input :-)

I usually have a temp dip pre-ov, then a clear rise of more 0.4 which is a sign ovulation has occured or will occured. I know this cycle I had a dip to 97.7 then it increase to 98.1 for 2 days, but FF (Fertility Friend) didn't give me a coverline and ovulation day until my temps increase to 98.4 and has maintained in that realm for the past 5 days. I am now 5 days past ovulation. If you want to see my chart here's the link.http://www2.fertilityfriend.com/home/487a7 You can see I differences in my pre-ov and when I actually ovulate.

typically- the temp rises only AFTER ovulation. And- it can happen a couple of days after o. So- I always check my cervix position and CM to make a determination of "o". good luck
