Temp Question

Does your temp usually drop just before ovualtion and increase just after? ( My temp yesterday was 91.2 and today its 97.5.) I have been charting this for 2 months now. I also have used Ovulation sticks for the first time this month. The sticks indicate that i'm ovulating but yet i don't have eyewhite cm. Could i be ovulating?

WOW... 91.2 to 97.5? That's a HUGE difference. Are you sure that it is that much? 91.2 seems REALLY low. usually the difference is only 1 degree or so at the most. Mine was b/w 96.9 and 97.2 pre ovulation and at 97.6 post ovulation. And I run low. Usually temps are around or b/w 97.0 and 97.6 pre Ov, and b/w 97.7 and 99 post Ov. As far as the prediction sticks. The LH surge happens 12-36 hours before ov, so you might not have ewcm showing yet. BD anyways, I'd say :-P

EWCM doesnt necessarily show up every time. It could just be waterday. If your temps stay high for at least 3 days then you can count of the fact that you ovulated the day before the temp rises occured. I hope this helps

I wondered, actually. Thanks for clarifying. What you can do is take all the temps that you've had since AF, baseline is drawn above the highest one, if this temp (and the temps for the next few days) are above that line, then you can safely say you've ovulated.
