Temp Rise

Hi everyone, I started charting this month (fifth month ttc). My cycles vary from 27- 46 days. Anyway, about two days ago I noticed the egg white cervical mucous. Now, on day 19, my temps still have not risen. Does this mean that I did not ovulate this month, or is it possible that my temps just did not rise yet. Like I mentioned earlier, I noticed the EW mucous on days 15, 16, and 17. Any information would be great thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try again tomorrow - your temps usually rise about 2 days after the egg white - I don't know if that is counting from the first day of EW or the last (I only have one day of EW and my temps rise about 2 days later)

Thanks for the response, I am getting nervous. Hoping that I did ovulate this month. Does anyone know if its possible to have the fertile EW mucous, but not ovulate??

My book says that the temp rise is the confirmation of ovulation, no matter what the mucus is saying. It also says that for sperm to get through the cervix, the fertile mucus has to be present. To my way of thinking that means you have to have s_x when the EW mucus is present and rely on sperm longevity (5days) if ovulation does not occur right away.
