Someone's opinion of you does not have to become your reality.

Morning girls! Haven't caught up on the threads yet. Just thought I would start a new one in the meantime. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Best of babydust to you all. Take care of yourselves. And make sure you tell at least one person today that you love them. x x x ~ Marcelle

Hey Marcelle, how are you doing girl? I am gonna go take a shower, but I just wanted to check in on you? How are the flower arrangements coming? Where has everyone been lately? It seems like everyone is taking a big break from this site!!! I feel so alone in my obsession. . . LOL In any case, like I said, I'm gonna go take a shower. Will return. Hope you're still here . . . If not, take care and until later!

Goodmorning (for me at least!) Ladies!! Today is a fresh, new day and we are ready to embrace it. :-) Thank you, to everyone, for their well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. It has truly been felt. Marcelle, how are you doing sweetie? How about your family? So, Dh called me yesterday morning at 4am and told me that he could not sleep. He like didn't fall asleep and wake up, it was just a flat out he was up pacing the room, trying to sleep, etc. and just could not. He said he felt the demons throughout the hotel that were not put to rest and he was in a spiritual battle all night. I went up and got him and we ate at The Cheesecake Factory YUM YUM BTW! and off to home we went. We walked through our house and prayed in each room and we both slept SO good last night! God did take care of those unsettled spirits lurking. Anyways... So Dh is driving back and forth now but that's okay. It's not that bad of a drive. It was a nice night. We talked, we laughed, and we loved. :-) I'm finding out that DH is telling like EVERYONE he comes across that we are TTC!! LOL Everyone at his training knows and I'm like, wait a minute, no we are NOT trying because you're so far away! haha. Oh well, he's excited and it shows. He told me about a guy in his training that he sits next to. He shared that we were TTC and the guy told him about it taking them 12 years to finally get pg! (They now have two kids) The guy told him they got one of those fertility monitors that displays a smiley face when you're at your peak O time and he said that once that appears, you have to drop everything you are doing and hit the sack! It was SO nice to have another man tell DH this so I don't look pushy... :-) That was exciting! So Dh is all pumped now. I told him we were going tp do the SMEP plan and explanined that to him. When I got done, he had this look on his face and was like, "Like I just understood a word you just said!" LOL Gotta love him! I'll do another post for personals, at least what I can do of them since I'm on Dh's laptop and don't have any chart addies... :-(

Megs - February 20

Just for fun, I bumped up the ORIGINAL thread that was started oh so long ago!!! :-) Yep, BORED out of my mind right now!! LOL Didn't want to make it THAT obvious... haha.

frozenfeet - February 20

Wow - I saw that and I thought Layni was back in the game.....whoa...after being here since october...I'm still a newbie...hahaha

Megs - February 20

Yeah Sarah for telling everyone!!! How did the "Game" go?? Who guessed it?? That is the neatest idea! Yeah for numbers being high!! :-) Hyperactive thyroid huh? Interesting... I hope that at the next test it all gets back to normal. And yes, Dh being excited about TTC just makes me giddy! :-) I love it! I just hope that he keeps it up as I don't know how long it will take us to have a baby... Hopefully with encouragement from other men he will, and with a great att_tude! Thank you.

Megs - February 20

hahaha!!! That's funny! I just chuckled at reading back on those posts... Of course, I haven ot been up for like the past 24 hours so I just skimmed through as reading through would take FOREVER!!! :-) Those were the "chatty" days.

frozenfeet - February 20

they were all like..."Sarah see's two pink lines??!!" .....then I put a pic of the test on the table and his mom's eyes popped out of her head! And his dad was like "we missed our turn for that???"...that is sooo his dad...and then he had a stern laugh...hugs all around. Do you think those hcg levels are high for 8 weeks...or normal??????....

So I was really looking for posts on soy... Still have such mixed emotions about it all! Sounds really great and since it's the "natural form of clomid" and the Dr. has already talked to me about going on Clomid, I'm thinking why not try Soy first for a couple months... It's not like I will worry about what it will do to my temps becuase they are already crazy! LOL Maybe I'll try a REALLY low dose like 40mg a day for CD 4-8? What you think?? Just see what it does to my body... ????? It's very interesting, that's for sure! I re-read the article Jeanette posted about soy isoflo... being given to IVF patients and how the success rate was higher for those that took Soy as well and all that good stuff. Everything bad points to taking high dosages of soy for long periods of time and since I do not consume soy every day or even really at all right now, I am thinking it would be okay. I am going to try to call the dr. today and just see what he says though. Insurance kicks in March 1!!!!! Gosh, it cannot come fast enough! LOL :-) *not needing to see a dr, just for the comfort of having insurance just in case!* I think that's enough rambling for this morning. What's on your schedule for today Sarah?? Marcelle, gone home yet?? Who eles is up and "refreshing"??? ;-)

Megs - February 20

Ah!!!! Made ME giggle just reading it!!! :-) That's wonderful!! So glad it went over smoothly. Now you can have your bouts of m/s around the family and they'll know WHY! LOL I was wondering the same thing about your numbers and wanted to do a google search to see... Give me a minute and let's see what I can't find. :-) Gotta love the internet at himes, huh??

based on days past ovulation (DPO): * At 14 DPO, the average HCG level is 48 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-119 mIU/ml. * At 15 DPO, the average HCG level is 59 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-147 mIU/ml. * At 16 DPO, the average HCG level is 95 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 33-223 mIU/ml. * At 17 DPO, the average HCG level is 132 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 17-429 mIU/ml. * At 18 DPO, the average HCG level is 292 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 70-758 mIU/ml. * At 19 DPO, the average HCG level is 303 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 111-514 mIU/ml. * At 20 DPO, the average HCG level is 522 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 135-1690 mIU/ml. * At 21 DPO, the average HCG level is 1061 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 324-4130 mIU/ml. * At 22 DPO, the average HCG level is 1287 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 185-3279 mIU/ml. * At 23 DPO, the average HCG level is 2034 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 506-4660 mIU/ml. * At 24 DPO, the average HCG level is 2637 mIU/ml, with a typical range of 540-10,000 mIU/ml. Accordingly, the key to interpreting the true value of HCG measurements is to look at their progression. In general, the HCG level will double every two to three days in early pregnancy. Approximately 85 percent of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours. However, as you get further along in your pregnancy and the HCG levels get higher, the expected doubling time increases. * For HCG levels <1200 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 48-72 hours. * For HCG levels 1200 to 6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is 72-96 hours. * For HCG levels >6000 mIU/ml, the expected doubling time is >96 hours. HCG levels peak at about eight to 10 weeks of pregnancy and then decline, remaining at lower levels for the rest of the pregnancy. Here is a sample listing of expected HCG levels based on time after conception: * 0-1 week: 0-50 mIU/ml * 1-2 weeks: 40-300 mIU/ml * 3-4 weeks: 500-6,000 mIU/ml * 1-2 months: 5,000-200,000 mIU/ml * 2-3 months: 10,000-100,000 mIU/ml * 2nd trimester: 3,000-50,000 mIU/ml * 3rd trimester: 1,000-50,000 mIU/ml * Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml * Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml

frozenfeet - February 20

yeah, I've searched it a bit...but they give such a liberal scale...like 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml ...doesn't really tell much. Today's schedule....chill for the morning and work this afternoon....how about you? I wonder what hapi's numbers are....I don't think it's twins....but ....I am on the higher side...and that test was done at 7 weeks. Hmmm....my m/s would be worse if it were....I just wish I knew either way....

Megs - February 20

Hummm... Maybe Hapi will post her numbers. Or you could post a question on the multiples board and see what type of response you can get?? ;-) How exciting! (Either way! LOL) Such a relaxing morning... Nice, huh?? Well, my computer is about to die so I'm off. Going to read a bit in bed and then up and off to the spa for a ma__sage, mani and pedi. (My dad gave it to me for Valentine's day. :-)) I'll be on later!! Have a great day!

frozenfeet - February 20
