Thoughts Please

Hello. I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on whether it is likely that I am pregnant or not. On September 19th I started but it was strange. Only really had it for one day and then brownish spotting for a few days after. I didn't really think anything of it but then I started getting really nauseous and food made it worse. Then I started smelling everything and it all smelt horrible. This past week I have noticed that the area around my nips looks different. Maybe a smidge darker but definitly getting bigger and a lot more noticeable bumps. My husband and I have been ttc for 10 months now and I am thinking that this might be it. My husband swears that I am and tells me that his intuition is telling him that. I feel like mine is telling me that too but I am so scared to get disappointed. Just curious what ya'll think p.s. I have taken a few home tests and they have all been negative. My friend told me that it is too early but I am not sure if this is true. My cycle is usually 28 days and regular so it is due on October 16th.

I forgot to mention that I have this cramping-pinching pain on the lower right of my stomach and my lower back is pretty sore. This usually only happens when my af starts. Idk what to think.

Hi dennie21. I have a 20 month old daughter and I believe that you are indeed pregnant. However, most women don't get a positive test until they have missed a period. We have been trying for a second child and I would love to have the symptoms you are experiencing. Right now I am 5dpo and it is killing me to have to wait to test. Good luck!!!!!

Thank you mjvdec01. I am pretty excited because it seems the symptoms I have cant JUST HAPPEN but at the same time I am still a little nervous that Im not. Im glad that I am not the only one that thinks that I am. I wish you the best of luck with your second. Lots of baby dust!!! :):):)

Dennie21- call your doctor and ask for a quant_tative HCG that should tell you for sure and I think it only takes a day or two to get the results back

Do you know about much those run? My husband switched jobs and I am still looking around for insurance options. It will probably be pretty expensive without insurance, right?

I have a question for anyone who could respond please. I have heard a lot about women making themselves have pg symptoms by worrying so much. I was wondering if your body could actually physically change your b___sts if you weren't pg.

I agree wtih MJV, get a blood test to determine your HCG levels. I took 2 tests a week before my period was due because I noticed changes in my b___sts that were unusual. They doubled in size and were extremely painful, more than the usual PMS soreness. So the tests that are available in drugstores seem to be very accurate. The blood test should determine whether or not you are pregnant. I wish you luck on conceiving.

GreekLady, I would love to be able to take a blood test but at the moment the cost is a little worrisome. Did you notice any bumps on your b___sts when you were experiencing the pain? I seem to have so many more and they are pretty raised. I dont know what else would do this.

find out which lab your doctor uses and call them and ask how much the blood draw and lab work would cost. I really have no idea without insurance, but I can't imagine that it would be more than a doctor visit would cost. Actually call different labs and ask the price because not all will charge the same and you may be able to find a lab close to home. All your doctor needs is the fax number to fax over your orders, but make sure you give them the phone number too.

I will check into getting some blood work done but for now I feel like I just need to freak out. :) My emotions are going crazy and I can't seem to find a happy medium. I have one of those "just know" feelings that I am pregnant but at the same time I am worried that I am reading into the changes of my body too much. If the areola area and the montgomery glands are growing in size, could that be a result of anything but pregnancy? Sorry, I just feel restless.

I would suggest taking an earkt pg test in the next couple days and every 3-5 days after until you start a normal af or get a positive, lets hope for the later :)

Thank you Brenda W. I am praying for the later. :)

Could I get as many people as possible to keep their fingers crossed for me or pray for me. I am officially late and plan to test on Friday. I am really hopeful that this is it. Thank you! (Im a little crazy right now, sorry).
