Tired Sleepy All The Time

Hi ladies This may be a silly question - but how soon after conception would it be feasible to be feeling tired because of pregnancy? I cannot stay awake past 9pm every night and I'm normally a night owl! Thanks in advance - Jules

I have had the same problem the last few days, normally up until 11:00 p.m. or later. If I am pregnant I am approximately 9 weeks and have been going to bed around 9:00 p.m. as well. Out like a light shortly thereafter. All HPT's have been negative though. A friend of mine mentioned her sister tested negative for the first 3 months and has a healthy 1 month old right now.

Thanks Michelle B - it's too soon for me to test for pregnancy (though I think we did everything right!) but for the last few days I just can't keep my eyes open! In fact - tonight's a record for me being 9:20pm! Where in the world are you, by the way? I'm in South Africa... Have read so much on this site about negative HPTs when people actually ARE preggers! So hang in there - or go for the blood test?

Jules- I am in Florida. Are you having any other symptoms? On top of being tired, I have sore b___st, drinking alot of fluids, potty alot, headaches, some mild cramping. If I am not pregnant I want to know what is wrong with me. I have not had AF since December 18, 2004 so I would be approximately 9 weeks.

Hey Michelle - Probably still too soon for other symptoms (haven't skipped my first af yet) - though have had some nasty headaches - but your symptoms sound really promising! What are you gonna do from here? These HPTs seems to be a bad conspiracy against momma wannabees! I truly don't believe there's anything else "wrong" with you! ;) Perhaps you should try another test? Or do the blood test? Is this your first?

PS - Florida! Awesome! I love the internet!

Jules - I have an appointment with the doc this week for a blood test. I am trying not to obsess, but its been hard when clothes are getting tighter and b___st are not fitting into my bras that normally fit OK. Yes, this would our first, so we are hopeful!

Jules - February 19

Wow! That's great Michelle. I can understand your frustration though - don't ya just hate playing the waiting game? I feel for you. I'm also trying not to obsess - but here I am on a Sat night checking out preggers chat rooms! Perhaps a little obsessive! But I won't test until I'm past my af due date which is only next week. What you're saying sound really hopeful - if your clothes are getting too tight, etc - sounds really feasible to me! Don't forget - there have been many many success stories on this site from those who had neg results on HPTs (and like your friend - neg results even way into the pregnancy!) - Come to think of it - I've also had major "jumpies" in my legs the last coupla days (like I can't keep them still). But again, i don't wanna obsess about what may or may not be a preggers sign! All the best to you, though - I think it sounds really positive. Please keep me posted?
