I was just wondering how bad cramps can get during pregnancy, I'm just wondering because I'm either 4 days late or 1 day late and I don't have any cramps at all (and my cramps usually get so bad that I feel faint and cry because of the pain), I'm just feeling like I'll be cramping soon, if you girls know what I mean but I just don't want to get discouraged or get put down because of the cramping so just let me in on how bad "pregnancy cramps" are supposed to feel. What other symptoms have you girls had that were I guess "unusual"?

Hi ReysGirl! Well, when I was pregnant with my son (who is now 13 months old so it wasn't long ago) I had pretty bad cramps right before and after af was supposed to show. BUT was is important to note and what was unusual was that I never usually got cramps. And I would always start to spot this brownish red blood (sorry if tmi!) on 11 dpo and on the month I got pregnant I had no spotting so for me THAT was unusual. I generally found that pregnancy symptons tend to be pretty individual specific and what's unusual for you is what counts. SO in your case, maybe no cramping is a good sign! : ) Good luck! BTW, dh and I are thinking about trying to have another baby, maybe even giving it a shot this month so I may be back on this wedsite more often. We wanted the kids (if I'm blessed with a second that is) to be at least 2 years apart but it's so hard to time for that, as you know. I'm 35 so I figure I might as well start trying before my clock stops ticking. Anyway, keep me posted!

i had light to moderate cramping before ib started. it was not before af cuz af was 10 days earlier and i had stopped the bcp 3 months prior and it was not due i just ovualted out of wack which is common after stopping the pill.

Thanks a lot Cady!!! I really appreciate your post. Your response really did help out a lot. Still no cramping yet and no af yet. I'm going to test again tomorrow. Hey, if you wanna keep in touch and share symptoms, you can read my thread on "I'm confused, can someone please respond" and you'll pretty much get my whole story. Good Luck trying for another and God Bless your son!!! I bet it must have been great experience for you, keep me posted as well!!!

Seems like you're a little down, if you need someone to talk to, you have me and the other girls are here as well, I feel like I'm about to get discouraged, it could also be because I'm feeling very emotional. I hope things go well for you, good luck.

thanks, are you in the u.s.?where? how old?

ReysGirl - February 11

Yea, I live in Northeast Philadelphia, and I will be 17 in March, please don't judge me because of my age (I'm not a__suming you will, I just know people who have judged me and don't even know my story). I'm more mature than you might think and I'm in a very serious relationship and if I get pregnant, I cant still finish school without a problem because I go to online schooling. I'm just not your typical teen. I'm also experienced with taking care of babies and kids, have been babysitting since I was 7, of course taking care of a child wont be easy, but will it be easy for anyone? I just feel like I'm ready, I hope you understand and will still keep me posted.

hope-31 - February 11

of course this does not change how i feel. you sound very mature for your age and as long as you have the support and love you will be just fine. are you ttc or is this possible pregnancy just an oops? i dont judge anyone,i do however state my opinion to some girls who are pregnant with there 3rd child at such a young age and just sound so uneducated that it makes me sick but i do not feel that way towards you . we are practically neighbors too. are your parents aware of this or not yet. im glad your boyfriend is supportive.

ReysGirl - February 11

Thanks Jessie (you can call me Jess). My parents are not aware of it yet but I know they will be very supportive at least when they have some time to take it all in. I live with my boyfriend and we both support each other completely, in fact he cant wait to know if I'm pregnant because he does want to be a dad as much as I want to be a mom. This pregnancy wasn't planned but we always said that if God wants to give us a child, we will take care of it and raise it properly no matter what type of situation we're in. It may not sound responsible but its because we really do want a baby but we're not going to try, its more like, if it happens, great, if not, I guess God doesn't think we're ready yet. Also I know my boyfriend would be a great dad, I love looking at him playing with kids and imagining him playing with our child instead, lol, I know it's silly but hey, I can dream. I also agree with what you said about you stating your opinion about the young and uneducated, I may be young but I am very well educated when it comes to this subject (and many others that include being an adult) and I do lots of research so if I do become a mother, I would like to be a great mom to my kids and be well educated in every department of it. Thanks for understanding!!!

hope-31 - February 11

no problemjust enjoy being a kid!

ReysGirl - February 11

My "kid" days were over a while ago, I've been living the life of an adult for a while now, but thats ok because I'm more fit to be and adult than a child, I guess thats what makes me feel more ready to be a mom and the fact that I don't really have a social life that involves partying or going out with friends, I would prefer to be around family whether its at home or a family vacation. Like I said, I'm just not your typical teen. How are you feeling by the way?

hope-31 - February 11

okay, never made it to the gym. i wish i never knew about all the signs and stuff. it would make things so much easier.

ReysGirl - February 11

Well try to take it easy and remember that you will be expecting your bundle of joy soon enough. I know it will be hard but just try to be patient and you'll be ready a positive pregnancy test before you know it! I'll be praying and hoping for you! Good Luck and God Bless and keep me informed with anything that happens!!!
