I cant seem to rememebr how many days is it that it takes for the sperm to get to the egg ??? AND after fertilization how long untill it attaches to the wall ?

Sperm *can* get to the egg within a couple hours, but I think the average time is a day or two (though I may be mistaken - it's been a long time since I looked it up). It takes about 6-12 days before the egg makes it down the fallopian tube into the uterus and implants in the uterine wall.

Yes indeed Lin is correct! Depending on when you ovulate the sperm can survive upto 5 day, 7 days was recorded but thats one study done. The average is 2 days for survival in the uterus and it is about 6-12 days for implantation with the average being 9 dpo in most women.

Oh, I actually answered the question a__suming that she was asking about the travel time from v____a to egg, not the sperm's lifetime, but of course you're right about that!
