What are the risks of having a UTI when Pregnant? My doctor last Monday sent me to the hospital to do a second urine sample because she said there is a possibility that I have one and if it comes up + shes going to put me on antibiotics.

There are no risks to the baby. UTI's are very common in pregnancy and can be easily and safely treated. If left untreated, a kidney infection can develop. I have had 2 kidney infections due to chronic UTI's and they are very painful and make you quite ill. I used to get UTI's from not peeing immediately following intercourse.
