It is far too early for symptoms and also to test. That could have been implantation bleeding but we will not know until you miss a period and retest. Good luck.

when are you suppose to get symptoms? i do have them already and i know it's not all in my head b/c i don't want a baby yet i'm not ready.

Many women have early symptoms starting at implantation or shortly thereafter, a week or so before missing a period. You have smell sensitivities, unusual b___st changes and frequent urination already. To me that is pretty indicative that something is happening. I like to think of frequent urination as being a__sociated with rapid hCG rise, so if you want you can do your first test when your period is due. If the test is negative and you continue to think you are pregnant, repeat a week later. Remember that as many as one third of these early pregnancies do not make it to the end of the first trimester, some of them not to the end of the first month. Mail me at [email protected] if you want to talk about your options.

well it sounds pretty good so far you have most symptoms that pregnant women have i had early symptoms with my 3rd daughter but with my first i didn't get any symptoms untill i was 4 months and my second daughter i didn't have any symptoms at all till i was 11 weeks but with my 3rd i had them well before my period was due i also had implantation bleeding with my 3rd and not with my others and viv i think that advice was a bit nasty it sounded to me that you was telling her that if she is pregnant her baby won't survive i sorry to say this to you viv as you only try and help people like myself but i do think you have scared the life out of her by saying that all the best meme and let us know what your tests say love ray xxx

Gee, could it be possible that many of these women, who are trying to get pregnant, could be reading their symptoms too closely and much of it is imagined? There is a thought. Most women do NOT have signs upon implantation. There is no rapid HcG rise at that early point. There may be a correlation btw HcG rise and urination but one does not cause the other. Correlation does not imply causation. Frequent urination is caused by an expanding uterus which presses on the bladder. It is not a hormonally caused symptom.

Good discussion. "Micturition (Urinary Frequency) You may begin to experience frequency of urination early in your pregnancy (as early as one week after conception). With an increase in progesterone levels and secretion of hCG, the blood supply to the pelvic area increases, resulting in bladder irritation."

hi meme. If you aren't due for your period until November 13, then that makes your ovulation date around October 30. I think Oct. 2 is too soon for implantation bleeding. I think that comes around the time of the expected period, which is why some people mistake imp bleeding for a light period. Also, it is possible that maybe you ovulated early last time. Therefore, maybe instead of ovulating Oct. 30, maybe it was a week or 2 before that, making it possible that it was implantation bleeding you experienced. Also, with subsequent babies, you become more "in tune" with your body and you recognize the signals sooner, plus your body recognizes pregnancy and sends out those signals sooner? Does that make sense? I would take a test with first morning urine, then continue testing every few days until either you get a positive, or your period comes. That aversion to smells sounds all too familiar. I feel for you. It's miserable to smell something and get nauseated! Good luck and keep us posted.

Bump. Everyone, help me with the bumps please.

oops meme, my mistake. I actually figured that's what you meant (Nov 2), and I meant to respond that way, but got mixed up. So pretend my post says Nov 2 instead of Oct 2. sorry!

meme - November 8

so you are saying that ovulation was to early

m - November 8

well, not necessarily "too early", but maybe earlier than usual. Some women ovulate days after a period. Let's just say you are a 28 day cycle normally. That puts your lmp on Oct. 16. Ok, now let's say for some reason, your body ovulated 5-10 days later instead of the usual 14. That would mean that IF this happened, and IF you did get pregnant, Oct. 2 is about the time implantation bleeding would occur, if it were to occur at all. Am I making sense? If this isn't what happened, I don't know what to tell you except to wait and see if you start on the 13th. Good luck meme! Hope this helps.
