Hi. I have a 9 month old at home and cant afford another baby. I am on the pill right now but am really bad at taking it at the same time and also at taking it every day. I did good this month though and only forgot it once but took 2 the next day. I still havnt gotten my period and i am feeling just like i did when i was preg. with my first son. What ar the chances im pg? Is my af not coming cause im stressed out??? I know i need to test but am scared and just wanted to see what were the chances of getting pregnant on birth control.

I think missing one pill and remembering quickly and taking 2 the next day is not too risky. I was very very good with mine, but did that once or twice in the many years I took mine and did not have a problem. I think it may be the stress. Maybe pickup a dollar store test to set your mind at ease? Good luck.

I am sorry to say but I do have a pill baby from forgetting one day, I would test just in case although sometimes stress can do it as well. What about another form of bc if you are forgetting to take the pill. I am not sure how much and IUD would be where you are. THey are expensive but insurance covered mine and you just don't have to think about it. GOod luck

Melissa- oh yes, I have heard of it happening, but it's really not that common. Some people even get pregnant without missing a pill!

Oh no melissap. I am scared now. I am asking because i had IB with my first baby and in the middle of my pill pack i peed and when i wiped there was some brown spotting o the toilet paper but not anywhere else. I dont know if it was IB cause i cant really remember but this doesnt really happen to me. Anywyas y have been really stressed cause my mom had a heart attack and shes o.k. now but they were really stressful moments. I dont know if any of this has to do with anything. Anywyas i was on the nuva ring for a while but that is soooo uncomfortable. It kept slipping out and i had to constantly go to the bathroom to put it back in. It also burned down there from putting it in and it slipping out etc. So i went back on the pill but dang.... I am really bad at taking it. Ill be happy if i am pg though but i sure cant afford it. Thanks for the info.

If you aren't preggo ask your doc about other forms of BC. I had my Mirena IUD implanted in June. It was $340 here in Canada but as my doc pointed out that is not alot of formula or diapers LOL. You really don't feel it just the strings. I had one before, thought I was preggo with it but is was hormonal changes. You have to just check the strings occasionally. I have heard some c___p things about them but I am not ready for permenant bc and obviously the pill didn't work so I opted for one again. Hope everything works out for you
