The stretching of the uterus.

It can be caused by implantation, the actual growing of the uterus, or increased blood flow to the uterus.

Exactly what Toya said

do most woman exerience these cramps in the 1st week?

Jordan- Most women feel the implantation and stretching pains early on and mistake them for their period arriving.

I have slight cramping but not as bad as my usual period. My period is suppose to come this week but yesterday it was just a pink light discharge and today it is darker in color and brown when I wipe and the flow isn't as heavy as my usual.I have major aches in my bottom back area and right side. I am tired all the time and my b___bs are a little bigger. I am glad if I am pregnant but it would hurt if Im not. I'm going to wait it out a little.

I was told by doctors that during pregnancy your ovaries produce a fluid that helps sustain the pregnancy which can leak a little and when it does can cause discomfort around that area. Apparently it's nothing to be concerned about. I probably didn't describe it nearly as precisely as the docs did but that was what they told me when I was in hospital during my pregnancy and they were worried it was eptopic (wasn't) they said the discomfort I was experiencing was this fluid for the pregnancy and not a cause for concern.

I have had mild cramping from about one week after I was ovulating. I think I am pregnant. It feels like light period cramps. They come and go often everyday. I usually notice them when I am relaxing and not walking around.
