What Do These Figures Mean Temping

HI, please ladies give me some input. I usually have a 29-31 day cycle. I've been charting my temps for the first time this month and it was 98.2 on the 28th, 98.6 on the 29th & 30th and now today it was 98.9. What does this mean? I realize the jump in temp on the 29th points to ovulation occuring on the 28th. We bd on the 25th, 27th, 28th and 29th. Why would my temp jump even more today? what is the normal temp range for a woman? and what is an average temp range if pregnant?

The average temp range after ovulation for a woman who is pregnant is no different than it is for one who is not. Your temp may jump (some go up again), and it may not.

You have to temp for several cycles to establish your cover line. The rule of thumb is that if you stay above the cover line for 18 days it is a good sign of pregnancy. Some talk of an "implantation dip" around 5dpo, and others of "going triphasic" when pregnant. You probably don't have enough data to make any conclusions just yet. Good luck!
