Hi again all - I woke up this morning feeling nauseous and AF is due 8/1 - could this nausea be IN MY HEAD??? Or caused by something else? Holding on to every sign of hope here!

Hi gigi....my AF isn't due until 8/6 and I took a HPT today, held it up and SWORE i saw a faint line, and i was nauseous Sun, Mon, Tues, & Wed and today's not over yet so I'd say it's a definate sign!! Good luck to you!!! ****baby dust to you*****!!!

Good luck Dawn - wow - you saw a faint line this early? That's awesome! I tested this morning and got a neg. ***snif!*** But I know it's 5 days before AF, so I'll test again! Baby dust to you too!

Gigi..I tend to have long cycles. I'm 10 DPO today, but still have more than a week before AF is due, so this is the part that KILLS me!!! Don't forget to take your hpt apart and hold it up to the light...if you see a faint line holding it up the light, it's a positive reading!!!! Take it again in a few days and the line should be a bit darker. Good luck! Eat crackers for the nauseau..sounds promising for you!! Nausea for a week is EXCELLENT!! I'm excited for you!!

Txs Dawn! I never knew you could hold up the hpt to the light! I threw it away but I'll go get it out of the trash right now LOL! Once again, for anyone new to this thread, what else could be the cause of nausea for this long, or could it be psychosomatic (I also have a temp of 99.2, am sweating alot - is that also a good sign?

Just some more info on holding it up....don't forget about evap lines...those still apply if you're gonna hold this mornings test up...and according to 2 docs I've asked, holding it up and seeing a line is a positive result...there will be NO line what so ever if you're not pregnant...good luck!!!! I've had a few chemical pregnancies and I was able to detect them all sooner by holding them up to the light. On the months I don't conceive, I don't see anything when I hold it up.

Hi Dawn - I held the Clear Blue test up to the light - it's the one which shows a plus or minus sign in in the result window, and I really can't see a "plus", just one faint horizontal line (neg.) Is there still hope or should I wait for a few more days to test?

Dawn - July 28

Gigi, oh yes, I'd say there's a ton of hope for you...you're having nausea for a week....that's an excellent sign. Wait a few more days and try it again, but don't forget to hold it up to the light! I find that flourescent lights work the best. Good luck!! Keep us posted! I'm confident you'll get a BFP by next week sometime, if you don't normally have nauseau everyday with your cylces.

Dawn thanks so much for your encouragement! Tell me what other signs you have... even though you have just a few days more than me to wait to test! BEST OF LUCK TO YOU TOO! Keep me posted please!

Gigi, I have been nauseous, dizzy, hot flashes and just always feeling hot, VERY crampy...some are like burning cramps in the lower central part of my abdomen, a pinching/pulling feeling under my belly b___ton, sore and heavy b___bs, but more heavy than sore and hungry. I thought at first I was coming down with the flu but that was 6 days ago!! I'm having these symptoms everyday since 5 DPO. Hang in there. I'm trying to distract myself so I don't make myself crazy, but it's so hard to do! What symptoms are you having?

To Gigi - July 28

Hate to kill to good vibes, but I was feeling sick for about 1 1/2 weeks before af was due, and then she should up. I will sometimes feel that way before af. I had other symptoms as well. Tired, headaches, nauseous, sore nipples, cramping, heartburn, gas and lots of it, and peein a lot.....apparently they were all signs of Af or all in my head.

Dawn, when you say take to the apart and hold it up to the light do you mean break it open? It never even occured to me to do that! Is it easy to do? I have a first response test that I'm taking tomorrow morning, are they easy to take apart?? Thanks for any info!! Good luck Gigi, and everone else! Baby dust!
