hi all..im still new to this posting so please dont mind my misuse of words...im so confused right now and as my name suggests im not the one for having patience for the past 5 months my AF has been on schedule every 27 days like clockwork. This month AF was due 10/22 and she didnt arrive...the first day of my LMS was 9/25/07....today is the 2nd day im late and ive taken a few HPTs (all the same brand) and they have all been negative...im so frustered here's a little bit more information-- my br___ts hurt and somedays they hurt more than other..i have found im a lot more sensitive to cold now then before** also i have nasua feelings almost everyday practically half the day and last night when we tried to eat spaghetti -- forget it -- i instantly became nascious and excused myself from the table ** also, some food i used to love mac n cheese and even drinks like root beer i just dont have a taste for right now...they taste bland to me i really have the "gut" thing telling me im pregnat...some of these symptoms started almost 3 weeks ago and have only intensified as time has gone on...i dont understand why my HPTs keep coming back negative...should i try a different brand?? also, if im having the symptoms of a pregnancy why wouldnt my HCG levels not be detectable -- isn't HCG hormone what starts these crazy symptoms??? has anybody experienced this?? were you pregnant or just that late?? what do you suggest I do??? thank you for trying to help ?

your hcg levels may not be high enough. they double every 2 days. maybe you ovulated late?

i would think that is a possibility...but then it makes me really wonder if i am or not...im getting to the point that im thinking something is seriously wrong with me im trying to be patient and wait it out but its tough maybe tomorrow ill get my positive....

well, you are only 2 days late, so dont panick. some ladies dont get their bfp till much later!

i havent experienced any spotting that indicates implanatation either...but i recall i didnt have spotting when i was pregnant with my son...so maybe i wont catch it or maybe i already missed it??

you dont always get implantation. every pregnancy for every lady is different. i never had implantation with either of my girls. but the pregnancies and labour was totally different!!

i tried first response and clearblue easy but from what im reading online now first response may nt be the "best test" and there are a lot of misleadings regarding when you actually start counting the days for your missed period... good luck all !!!!

The symptoms are caused by a different hormone than the hCG looks for. There are plenty of women who do not get a positive until 2 weeks late, some later. Start the prenatal vitamins just in case, test every few days using first morning pee, and best not waste money on a doctor until you miss a second period. Good luck!

thank you for that advice and a bit of comfort in this matter...this has been so frustrating but having a network of people to offer adivce and listen is helping thank you and good luck to all TTC
