What S The Difference Between Discharge And Spotting

Hi! Just wondering what's the difference between discharge and spotting. Thanks!

Cady - March 20

As I understand it, discharge is either milky, creamy, eggwhite, wet, sticky, etc. Healthy discharge does not have an odor and usually is not yellow but clear or white. Spotting is either light brown or light pink and usually does not require a panty liner. Also, every woman experiences some kind of discharge throughout her cycle (I think?) but spotting is less common and can denote a problem is spotting is sprinkled throughout the menstral cycle. Spotting around ovulation is normal and spotting a few days before or a few days after your period can be normal if your luteal phase is at least 10 days. I hope this helps.
