What To Think Any Answers Would Help A Lot

I have a similar problem to some posted here. Last few months I have felt sick with vomiting, dizziness, have no energy and sleep all the time. My br___ts hurt and are bigger, my stomach has had a pulling/dragging feeling in the muscles at the side and I am incredibly tender there and slightly swollen. But again I have had periods although they are nothing like they are normally, especially the last one which was 2 days of spotting then a bit heavier but still nowhere near normal. I took a urine test and it said negative but now I dont know what to do, any ideas?

It is possible from what i've read, although this hasn't happened to me, to still get your period while pregnant. urine tests aren't as sensitve as blood tests, so I would recommend seeing a doctor and asking for a blood test

The doctor will not give me a blood test from what she has said. She wants me to go for an ultrasound but she didnt say why, I know that sounds silly but she just wouldnt. I would like to know if I could be pregnant because the ultrasound sounds like it will be a long way off. I want to know what to expect if that makes sense.

I guess she wants you to go for an u/s to see what is going on. I presume by that that she thinks you aren't pregnant but that there is something else going on. what, I don't know because I'm not an expert! I know the waiting is hard, but try to be patient and in the meantime take care of yourself just in case. You could always try a urine test again, but you may be just wasting money.

Its just all the symptoms I have been having fit and I've tried to find out as much as I can and I do want to be pregnant. I just hate the waiting

I really do understand, I'm a very impatient person myself and I couldn't even wait until I missed my period before doing a test!! Do you have the possibility to see a different doctor? Maybe you should lie and say you've been missing your periods!

Well I thought about doing that.Unfortunately the only other female doctor at my practice messed up when I went to see her about something else at the start of this year and I just dont think anything would be done if I went to see her.

Nicki...if your doc wont give you a blood test call a clinic and ask them they should do it...as for the sonogram...it should be able to tell you if you are pregnant..they will probably be looking for cysts...very common pregnant or not...Waiting for a few weeks for a sonogram would be good if you are pregnant because early in the pregnancy...around 4 or 5 weeks a lot of times they do not even see the sac yet...good luck

I did think about cysts and fibroids but i didnt fit the symptom pattern. I would be further on than that if I am pregnant. I just hate waiting and I want to be pregnant which doesnt help cos I know I have all the symptoms!
