When Is The Right Time To Test

I'm trying to figure out what time of the day you are supposed to take a pregnancy test? I have been told in the morning by some people and at night be others. If you have asked a doctor about this or just know, please let me know. Thanks

I always understood that first morning urine is the best for taking a home pregnancy test. That way your urine is more concentrated and will have enough of the pregnancy hormone HCG to register on a test. If you take a test in the night or the afternoon...your urine could be diluted from drinking fluids and cause a false negative. But if you are far enough into your pregnancy an HPT should register positive at any time of the day. The advice for first morning urine is good when testing early or the day of a misse period. Good Luck

Melissa is right FMU is the best.

Agreed - October 28

First morning urine is best. If you can't do that (cause you get up all night to pee or something like I do :o\ then they say to try to wait 4 hours to urinate without drinking much for fluids
