Hi Karen, I take allery medication. I checked with ob and doctor, they say that claritin otc is safe to take while ttc and while pregnant. Also, benadryl (if needed) and sudafed cold/allergy. I did some of my own research (just via internet) so I don't claim this is correct, but I had been taking Allegra and Flonase, and I read studies where both of those caused eggs not to implant 30% of the time (in the uterus of rats!). I figured I would not take any chances, so I stopped taking them ASAP. Good luck.

I am pregnant adn I have very bad allergies. My dr told me I can take zerteck, claritin and benedryl, They are all very safe. It seems like my allergies are worse since I got pregnant, may be in my head, but zerteck is pretty good and benedryl is great but it knocks you out. these are the only 3 my dr told me I could take. Good luck!

My NP told me to only take Rhinacort nasal spray to control my allergies. Since the season here is pretty much over I have stopped.
