Why Are There Changes In Cycle Length

We've been ttc for 8 months now and last month was really weird. My usual cycle length is 24 days (and ovulation est. day 12) but last month AF showed up early at 22 days and ovulation around day 11. I had begun spotting 4 days before AF had shown up, which is not usual either. This month my cycle is wierd too. I am on cycle day 15 the opk indicated a LH surge on day 14 and my temps have been the same for 2 days. AF is due in 9days (Well hopefully she just won't show). Could I not be ovulating this month even though there was a LH surge? Why the change in cycle length? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

This is interesting stuff. Are you charting on fertilityfriend.com so you can mail your charts? My first take is that you shorted yourself a couple of days last month and you are about to make that up this month. The variation is within normal bounds. Let's see if your LH surge was a few days early and your temp is about to rise. If you were preg. I think the LH surge would be suppressed. Keep us posted.

My temps rose this morning! Now the waiting game begins. Est. ovulation occured somewhere between cd 15&16... it will be interesting to see what happens... hoping that AF doesn't show up.
