if he treats you so badly what is there to love about him? if he treats you that way now, do you really think its going to change when the baby comes? idk how old you are but i would rather be by myself than with someone who is lazy and abusive. and God forbid, if your child sees this then he or she will learn from his abusiveness and turn on you or others. before you bring a precious baby into this world, please think about what you are doing to yourself and the baby...living a life of fear and hate, thats no way to live...i just dont understand women like you who can love a man who is full of anger and hatred and laziness yet feel that a baby will change everything...and it wont. it will only get worse. and no matter how you feel he will change or that you can change him, it will not happen until he either grows up and/or gets some counseling. if you insist on staying with him, at least make sure he gets over his abusiveness before you get pregnant again and bring another life into your world!

i'm sorry to hear that. i know how you feel, i am ina similar situation. i think the smartest thing we can try to do is leave them no matter how much it hurts :(

He is not going to change once the baby is born and who wants to bring a child into that type of living situation? I know it's easier said than done when someone says to just leave him, but eventually you will get to a point where you are just fed up and you will get the courage to leave him. I have been there and moving on was the best thing I could have ever done for ALL of us. Good luck.

As I told you in your other post, if you aren't pregnant don't TTC...if this guy is this way now he will only get worse. My sister swore up and down that her emotionally abusive boyfriend would never do anything to hurt her...all the way up until the day he left her in a hospital bed because he beat her so bad...people can assume they are in love but now my sister is married to another man (not that he is any better) and she was with this first guy for 6 years...I know its hard to get over someone but just imagine 6 years only knowing one person? I mean DH and I have been together for almost two, married almost 1 and I couldn't imagine losing him, but I think her knowing that guy for 6 years would be tough on her. But think about this and I am going to capitalize not because I'm yelling but just to get the point across. WOULD YOU RATHER HER FOR A LITTLE WHILE KNOWING HE IS GONE, OR HURT FOREVER WITH HIM? I know I would rather hurt for a little while. Besides you are only 17, you still have your ENTIRE life ahead of you.
