my son is turning 14 months the 27th. i think it is just my son who acts like this but i'm not sure. when we go to a store and he sits in the cart or his stroller he can't stand it, he will cry and scream to get out. so of course when he gets out he is just messing with things on the shelves. i tell him no and pick him up to keep moving along and he just screams his head off. i have tried to keep him occupied in the cart of stroller but he just throws it. does any of your babies act like this? what did you did to try and stop it? i hope its just a phase

This is a phase (which will probably last past the two stage), he is just testing his limits with you. He probably also wants to explore too, kids love that and they learn that way. He probably wants to get a reaction out of you, he wants to see what you do when he throws a tantrum. My son threw tantrums alot, to get him from NOT flip out (and embarra__s me lol), I'd let him push the stroller or cart instead of running wild. Everytime he would try to flee, I would just say, "come here, help me push the cart!" Or I'd let him help me pick things out to put in the cart. He loved and still loves pushing the cart and now he pushes his little sister in the stroller with my help. I hope he grows out of the phase for you, he'll be throwing tantrums until he grows out of the, "I'm independent, I can do anything, terrible early one and two stage!" lol.
