ok im 19 years old (soon to be 20) in college..i've been married for year now but i've been with the love of my life for 4 years...we are really tryin to have a baby. i haven't had a period all of august so i thought i was pregnant. we have been havin unprotected s_x since the end of july. i had a few signs of pregnancy but they all seemed to have disappeared after a few days. i've done HPT after HPT and they were all negative. i figured it was still to early to tell since the last time i did one was on the 28th of august i'd figure i would wait a week to retest...but then i had s_x last night (31st of aug) and this mornin when i went to pee and wiped myself i saw blood. could i not be pregnant and have my period or could i be having a miscarriage? and please i am askin for help, not criticism. i do have a job and am going to school full time, my life is great right now and a baby would make it just better.and i know alot of people are going to say that with a baby i wouldn't be able to finish but im almost 20 and a junior in college. my mother wants a grandchild so bad that she is willing to watch him/her while i go to school. so i have all the support i need, i just want a baby now! sorry this is so long, im just desperate now

First of all, congrats on your marriage! Many people finish college with a child. It is not that uncommon. You should really consider posting to the "General Pregnancy" forum because more woman post there and you can get more informative information than in here. Just a suggestion. Anyway, I would doubt that you miscarried since you did several HPT's and they were all negative but anything is possible especially if the HPT's were past the expiration date, you tested too soon, or test not performed correctly. You can still be pregnant and have some spotting. Spotting can be caused by implantation bleeding. Since you have alot going on here w/your body I would see a doctor and have a blood test ran. If you did miscarrying your HCG level can & may still be present if it is a relatively new miscarriage (HCG would be dropping though). Try to stop worrying. Best of luck to you.
