I like that site too. My story is on it. It's in the teen part for first baby young mothers and second baby young mothers. My name is Shauna, so you can look for them if you want to.

Okay I think I'll get this started since nobody else seems to want to post or repost their stories. I was 19 when I found out I was pregnant. I had had an abortion at 18 so I knew I was going to keep this baby. I found out July 1, 2004 before I even missed a period. I just "knew" I was pregnant. The pregnancy was the longest 9 months of my life but now that it's over I miss it. I was due March 10, 2005 and, besides a few preterm labors scares that were stopped with Terbutaline, I was doing fine. My due date came and went and I was scheduled to go in for a nonstress test the 13th, Cervadil the night of the 14th, and an induction on the 15th. Well on the 13th the nonstress test showed regular contractions so the nurse checked me and I was 3 cm. dialated. I decided to go home and wait it out. The next day I still wasn't feeling anything but I figured something had to be happening so I went back to the hospital. I was 5 centimeters dialated and almost completely effaced. After an hour of walking the halls nothing was happening so the doctor broke my water. That caused the worst pain I have ever felt. It hurt to breathe. So the anesthesiologist came in and gave me an epidural which I loved. I chatted with my mom and boyfriend until I realized I was feeling pressure. The nurse checked me and I was 9 cm. Within another 5 minutes I was 10. I started doing some gentle pushing while the doctor was getting into his scrubs and all. Finally I was allowed to push as hard as I could. At 5:53 PM my daughter, Gemma, was born weighing 8 lbs. 10 oz. I had to have a large episiotomy and that is the only thing I didn't like about my birth. We came home March 16 and she is still large and healthy to this day. Best wishes to everyone and happy Halloween!!!!!
