Chances Of Condom Failure

My girlfriend and I have had s_x a lot in a short period of time recently, but we ALWAYS used a condom before any intercourse began. None of our condoms visibly broke or tore and I was careful to make sure than none spilled after ejaculation. But still, it has been several days since she was supposed to start her period and she is worried. How likely is that a pregnancy resulted from an unseeable rip or tear in a condom? None were past their expiration date and in one or two cases I even replaced condoms that I felt had been used to their extent during s_x. Should we be worried?

She may just be late because of a change in your s_xual behavior. When I started having s_x my cycles were all screwed up. Condoms are believed to be 97%-99% effective. I wouldn't think that she could be pregnant, but then again any time you have s_x, no matter what you do, it could happen because there is that margin for error. Just take a test, and hope for the best, that's all you can do. Just remember that anytime you start having s_x you need to be prepared to accept the responsibilities that come with being a parent because you never know when you will become one. I am 18 and my husband is 17 and we have a 13 day old baby girl. You just have to be careful and accept the responsibilites that come with being s_xually active. You are doing the right thing by using condoms every time and even changing them during s_x.
