im one month pregnant and i have died my hair and was wondering can dieing my hair harm my baby?

I dont think so Mandy. But because there are no extensive studies done on this it would probably be best to use a semi-permanent hair color without amonia in the future or have your hair highlighted since the bleach does not touch your scalp where it can be absorbed by your body. Of course it is very important that when you color your hair it is in a very well ventilated area where you will not inhale the fumes. Good luck!!!

It's best to stay away from all chemicals when you are pregnant. Don't be worried about this one time, chemical exposure adds up. Just do your best to stay away from as many toxins as you can. Hair and nail salons are full of them!!!

You are told not to color your hair during pregnancy because the hormones may make your hair not take the dye.It's more they don't want you to be dispointment when the color doesn't take then the chemicals.
