Well, my medicine sheet said i could take coughdrops for coughs.. well coughing is one of the symptoms of whatever bug I've mananged to catch this week. WELL I stuck a cough drop in my mouth (stupidly) before reading the back... sooo just in case I read it and it said DO NOT TAKE IF PREGNANT OR b ___stFEEDING... Is one little cough drop gonna do any damage?

I doubt it, especially if you are in your second trimester. I wouldnt worry about it just as long as you dont take anymore. I know of girls that have gotten wasted before they knew they were pregnant and had healthy beautiful babies. that also goes for perscription drugs, i know a few women who have been on them and didnt know they were pregnant and had the same outcome. if you are super concerned mention it at your next prenatl visit. good luck

well, any medicine says that. even tylenol. So dont worry. They have to say that for security reasons. In fact, I dont think their is any over the counter medicine that says ok if pregnant (medicine you take orally) So if your dr. said its ok (which it is) then dont worry about what the back of the box says. Everything that is safe to take while pregnant will still have that disclaimer on the box.
