Where did you apply at? Once approved medicaid covers you from that day on. I would go directly into an office. Call ahead to find out what you are going to need to provide them with. In the mean time make sure you continue to take prenatals or start if you havent yet! GL!!!

I am a__suming this means you haven't gone to a single appointment? Finding the s_x of the baby isn't the only thing you need to worry about right now. Many things need to be monitored to make sure you and the baby are healthy. Call the place, make a visit, do what you need to do but in the meantime try going to a planned parenthood for a normal checkup. You'll need to find a place like planned parenthood that has ultrasound technology to see the baby. Not every doctors office has this.

You should ahve been to several appts. You say you want to know the s_x so you are 18 weeks or more...You chould have been to the doctor when you found out you were pregnant!

planned parenthood don't have prenatal care, try callinf for a 3d-4d one in your area, they cost 100-300, but you get some cool pics with it. you need to see a doc, if you don't get approved with medicade you still have to go, your babies health has no cost.

Planned Parenthood helps you find medical a__sistance...See if there is a free clinic in your area, I went to one for two appointments.

When I became pregnant, I had my first appt. then 2 -3 days later... I had my ultrasound done. You should've too! But, I would say... If I were you I would call and tell them I'm ready to find out the s_x of the baby! Most doctor offices don't tell you the s_x of the baby until your fifth month. I didn't find out what I was having until I was in my 7th month... I'm in my 9th now (Thank God)! That just made my test more accurate! Go to the doctor, medicaid or not... you need mediacal a__sistance. Someone will help you get your medicaid straighten out!

Definately go to planned parent hood... if they can not do the appointments like you need they will help set u up with somewhere you can go. I know there is a program called NH Healthy kids in new hampshire and there are similar ones in every state.... if you find that program it is not jus for providing children with health insurance it also insures pregnant women.... so try and find out about that... because as soon as you go to the department of child and family services they will help set up the coverage for you... hopefully thats help ful....
