For Teens Period And Pregnant Answer

A lot of teens ask can you be pregnant and have a period. The answer is yes and no. Very confusing. I mean YES as in you can bleed but NO as in it isn't a period. When pregnancy occurs about 50% of all pregnant women experience Implantation Bleeding. Implantation Bleeding usually occurs around 8-14 days after conception. Implantation bleeding can occur around the time you expect your period to arrive thats why a lot of women dont realise their pregnant until their 2nd or 3rd month of pregnancy. Implantation bleeding can be a pinkish va___al discharge which looks very similar to ovulation discharge or even red (blood) steaked discharge. It can also be spotting or light bleeding. Any of this can last from a few hours to 2 days. Sometimes 3 days. Now if you've had a normal period or a normal few periods then the chances are you are not pregnant. As I've said its very likely to bleed slighty during pregnant. Especially early pregnant. But heavy bleeding or a normal period bleed usually means you are not pregnant. If you are bleeding very heavily (too heavy for a normal period) and are losing clots and/or having very bad stomach pains then see your doctor ASAP or go to the nearest ER especially if you suspect or know you are pregnant. Hope this has cleared up some queries about a period during pregnancy and I hope I didn't miss anything out. But if you have any questions then dont hesitate to ask. :o)
