If that period was normal, not short or light, and you have no other pregnancy signs like fatigue, peeing, discharge, unusual changes in appet_te, smells, gut function etc. then the chance of pregnancy is pretty slim. You ovulate 14 days before your period, and the egg is only good for one day. If in some weird way you did get pregnant from s_x on the 12th, next Wednesday could easily be too earlly to test. Instead, tell the doc you set up the appointment to find out why you missed a couple of periods. Are you stressed, sick, underweight, quite young, new to s_x or whatever? GL!

If you are 10 or 12 weeks pregnant, a urine test any morning would show positive big time. If you got pregnant from s_x April 12th, you might better delay your appointment by a week. Write down the whole story so you don't forget details, and give it to the nurse at the appointment. A quant_tative (beta) blood test shows potential positives earlier than a qualitative blood test, which may be no more sensitive than a pee test. The quant_tative test is usually reserved for special circ_mstances, since it is more expensive. What you have written so far does not make me think you are pregnant. GL!
