GETTING THINGS CLEARED

Alright, I've been reading the forms for a while. I have noticed that some people have concerns and some confusion. I would like some people, who knows the real stuff and gets their facts straight. Not from a friend, but from someone who knows, like a teacher or a doctor. Anyways, I was wondering if you can get your period while being pregnant? If anyone can answer me this, I can sleep better tonight! Thanks!

It is rare, but it is possible. Although the correct term would be "break through bleeding" and is considered trimester bleeding. If you are really concerned, you should take a blood test. Remember this is very rare, and not likely if your period is very heavy. But even then, there has been very very rare cases of that.

To add to Lala's post, there's a thing called implantation bleeding where the baby implants its self inside the uterus at about 7 to 10 days after conception. This however isn't like a normal period but can be mistaken for a light cycle. It's usually light pink in color and only last a few days. But this is also kind of rare. Most girls won't experience this.

Why didnt you go to your teacher or doctor if you think no-one knows anything here?
