okay yesterday was cycle day 17=known to be my ovulation day. well its cycle day 18 & yesterday i started checking my cp i checked it 4 times yesterday from 7am -7pm. im going to check it every morning when i check my cm. but yesterday my cm was watery, & a little stretchy & cp was high(felt a bit open but im not sure first time) & it was so soft. now today. cm was more creamy or egg white you might say, & a little stretchier. but my cp was lower then yesterday and wasn't as soft.? does this mean i missed my ovulation time? or i ovulated sooner then i thought i would? i temp & do opks also but i opk'd on cycle day 11& 12 and negative so i was going to wait till cycle day 16 & i forgot to test so i didnt on cycle day 17 & negative not even a little bit of a line. my ff is 3w's.fertility friend.com/home/kendramarie if you want to look; my temp dropped on cycle day 11 like i would ovulate but then. i had negative opks.? im confused? im not understanding yesterday i had ovulation pains & im having them this morning or what i believe is.? just a little bit confused if anyone can help me id appreciate it.

That's an unusual chart, Kendra. Are you using a BBT thermometer and temping at the same time before rising in the morning? Good luck!

yah i do & i know.

Cervical positioning isn't as reliable at temperature. A temperature drop doesn't indicate anything. Most women do not get a fallback rise (a drop before the temp rises) Most of the time, your temp will just start to rise. Go off of that. Don't worry if your cp or cm aren't in sync. Sometimes its just not.

but hunni have u looked at my chart, is that bad? does it look like i ovulated yet?

I personally don't think it looks like you have ovulated, but I'm not an expert at the charts. A rise (at least 2/10's of a degree) higher than all temps the previous six days and staying at or beyond this level for at least 3 consecutive days shows that ovulation has occurred. My addy is fertilityfriend.com/home/bren1367 if you want to check it out. Let me know what you think.

Oh I forgot to add, that somtimes my cp changes throughout the day. It is very confusing, so I don't think it's very reliable to go by. Also I seem to have ov pain the day before ov according to temps. Have no idea why. Maybe you're the same way. I hope this helps. Good Luck and BabyDust!
