Lily - There's not much you can do at the moment hun until you know for sure whether you are pregnant or not. That's great about your boyfriend going to do the test with you. You'll need a lot of support whatever the result. Have you talked through the options with your boyfriend and whether he will support you if you are pregnant or whether he will want you to have an abortion etc? If not I would talk this through with him. You'll know all of the options as far as he's concerned this way. You'll also know where he stands and what he thinks about it all. Its best to have everything out in the open. This way you will know who to rely on and who you cant, etc. If the test is negative and your period still hasn't arrived in a week then you'll need to do another pregnancy test. If this test is still negative and no period, then see your doctor and have a pregnancy blood test. The blood test is much more accurate than the home urine tests. If you have a positive, no matter how faint, then see your doctor to have the pregnancy confirmed. If you are worried about your parents finding out dont be. Because the doctor is governed by a confidentiality rule. If he or she breaks this rule, they not only loose their job, but their licence to practice medicine as well. So your parents will never find out unless you tell them yourself. Good luck with the test and let us know how you get on. :o)
