Cat - A missed period doesn't always means pregnancy hun. A missed period or periods in your case, could be hormonal related or any other number of things. Its true that urine pregnancy tests are not always accurate. However, you can never have a false positive. Well you can but its highly rare. But you can have false negatives. There more common than some would believe. What I would do is buy another pregnancy test. Look for the pregnancy test which looks for the lowest amount of HCG. I would recommend a dipstick pregnancy test. I think these looks for 25units. So you should get a positive with this test if your over 4 weeks pregnant. If the test is still negative, then go to your doctor and ask for a blood test. You will need to ask specifically for a quantiative blood test as this tests measures the amount of HCG present in your blood and is very accurate. If this test says you aren't pregnant then you can bet you aren't hun. Dont worry as its very confidential and your parents wont find out unless you tell them yourself. So have a pregnancy test done then go and get a blood test at your doctors within the next week. If you are pregnant you need to start pre-natal treatment asap. If you have a positive pregnancy test you still need to see your doctor to have the pregnancy confirmed and to start pre-natal treatment. Take Care!! :o)
