how does it effect teenage girl education?

a pregnancy?? oh my goodness! i was 16 when dd was born. I finished up my grade 10 and brought her to school with me. But a new director took over the year after and she wouldn't let us bring our babies anymore so almost all of us ended up dropping out because we couldn't afford daycare! Even years later i tried to go to night school but couldn't concentrate and had too hard of a time with it so dropped out again! It really takes a toll, even if you find suitable child care for when you are at school, what about when you get home and have a baby to look after plus school work to get done? It is very challenging. Not saying you can't do it, just saying that it is tough!

Paying for a child's needs, alone, is difficult and leaves many girls having to choose between spending their day furthering their education or spending those hours at a full time job so they can buy baby food, new clothes, diapers, formula, and all the other expenses a baby requires.
