I am five weeks pregnant at 17 and am having really bad nausea... I tried saltines and everything but just kept throwing them up. I'm having a hard time keeping anything down, even water, so i haven't eaten very much at all in the last few days. How long will this keep going on? Is there anything that can help me keep food down?

The worst weeks for nausea are 7-12, though some women have it much longer. Keep nibbling and sipping, and one source says to sip away from nibbling. You are going to be one of those who gains no weight during the first trimester, if that is any comfort. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Hey I had really bad morning sickness til week 22. It began at 5 weeks and it was bad, i threw up atleast 2x a day and was unable to take vitamins or eat anything at all. I would try eating protein or those nutrition bars for the nutrients. My suggestion is try to eat every 2 hours even if you are not hungry like a snack. Morning sickness is worse on an empty stomach. Also chew on ice chips and what helped me was chewing on minty gum. Ginger Ale and crackers did not help me at all. And I thought I had lost weight the first trimester but i actually gained 10 and about 52-55 during my whole pregnancy! Just try eating small every 2 hours. Hope this helped.
