Pain During Sex Normal

I was pregnant in december but sadly miscarried at almost 9 weeks. Since then my periods are quite odd. The bleeding from the mc lasted for two weeks. Then my next period was on the 1st. Then the next one was on the 11th, then after that the next one was on the 28th. Me and my partner want to try for another but i'm finding it hard to work out when i ovulate because of my periods. Also, for the past week i've been sore 'down there'. Me and my partner tried to have s_x yesterday but the pain was so intense we had to stop! Has anyone else had this? I know it isn't an std as we have both only ever slept with eachother and we both were screened about 8 months ago. (For anyone who wants to know as i have saw questions asked on previous posts. We are both 18, we live in our own apartment. He works and i finish college in three months. We are financially stable. We've been together for 3 years, known eachother for 5. We do plan on getting married but just not yet.) thanks for any help, sorry it's long!!

It sounds like something maybe you should get checked out. I know I get pain sometimes with s_x (before I was pregnant) due to not having s_x for a while...I even bled sometimes. It might be your positioning, or he may be thrusting to hard. There are lots of reasons something could be wrong. I get sore when its not lubricated enough down there, so maybe make sure its wet enough before he goes in you (sorry if this is kinda graphic, or open, I just dont know how else to explain it) Try it different ways...like missionary hurts me more times then not, so we do back entry positions..and they dont hurt at all! I hope I have helped, and Im sorry to hear about your miscarriage. You should read up on when the best time to get pregnant after miscarriage is...I think I read somewhere that you should wait a certain amount of time, but I could be wrong. Good Luck

My doctor said that i should wait a month but i read somewhere that it should be three months. It actually hurts as it's going in, i was on top (sorry too graphic?) so i had the control of how it was going in and i tried to do it very slowly but every bit it went in it hurt more. I think i will get it checked out but i just wondered if anyone else had had it?

Is it on the inside, or the opening? Sorry... That it hurts?

It's on the inside. It feels like something is grating (sorry maybe not the right word to use) on my insides. I did think that maybe i had an infection like thrush or something because i know it's not an std but i have had thrush before and it wasn't like this. Plus i have no unusual discarge...

Are you sure your not pregnant? Because thats how it was for me when I first fell pregnant...

I had my period on the 28th feb and it lasted for three days. So i don't think i am, like i said my periods are very strange though. Do you think it's best if i took a test? We haven't used any protection since the m/c

It might be a good idea. Sounds like you might be, you can get periods while you are pregnant as well.

It could also be an infection in the fullopian tube. You can bleed during pregnancy but it isn't a period. Maybe you should test and then see a doctor.

I've just phoned my boyfriend (he's at his parents at the minute) and asked him to pick up a test tomorrow on his way back from work. I'm not getting my hopes up though because of what happened before. Thanks ever so much for you advice!!

I had a mc and I also had a lot of pain durng s_x. Have you had a GYN visit lately? It might be good for you to have a u/s to make sure that everything is okay and all the tissue, etc has cleared out. Was it a natural m/c or did you have a d&c? I had a natural mc and had a lot of pain about 2 months later- I hadn't had a period since my m/c so the dr. did an internal ultrasound and I had some leftover tissue that was irritating my uterus, so I had a d&c to get everythng out. This is a serious issue so you might want to make an appt just to make sure that everything is good. Be sure to look out for nausea, vomitting, fever, abdominal tenderness, or anything tat would suggest an infection. Hope everything works out, be sure to update.
