Peace Of Mind

One of my guy friends have been absolutley freaking out for the past few days. Not long ago, about 5 days or so, he had unexpected, unprotected s_x with his girlfriend. He called me up to ask me what the chances are of her being pregnant. He believes he pulled out in time, but isn't entirely sure, and while he knows that she is on oral contraceptives, he isn't entirely sure that it was a "safe" time for them to have had s_x. I know that she smokes from time to time, but appears to take her pills consistantly. Does anyone know anything that can help me give him peace of mind, and if not, anything at all? Thank you.

It really depends what time of her cycle she is in. The contraceptive pills can either stop you from ovulating or create more of a mucacy buildup around your cervix so that the egg finds it very hard to implant into the walls of your uteris after it has been fertilised. There is only a 2% chance of getting pregnant on the pill ( and thats if the pill is used correctly) Tell your friend not to stress over this as I am sure he was safe, but just make sure that condoms are always used.. because that is the best piece of mind
