UGH I HATE MY LIFE

Okay I went to the ER tonight, because I was feeling dizzy and having a bit of pain. The ER was jam packed so the guy at the front desk just got me into the birthing center, so we headed upstairs, I got hooked up to monitors, and everything was going just fine, I found out my blood pressure is a little up, but the doctor on call for my doctor requested blood work, okay no biggie, so you'd think. The nurse comes in, I told her which vain of mine works because I basically have only one good vain out of both of my arms, and she basically blew me off and was about to stick me right by my elbow on the back of my arm, so finally I stood up for myself, and she basically acted like I was an idiot, saying the vain was all scarred over, ironically she got blood instantly when she stuck it. Anyways, after that and she left the room I started bawling, because onie thing I HATE is not being in charge, and she told me I might have to be there for 24 hours, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, I kept telling her that, she basically mocked me, this is the third time a nurse has done this to me in an emergency situation, and it's really stressing me out. I think it has to do with the fact I'm 16 but does anyone know of a way to where I can keep more control in a hospital situation, because it's really scaring me, I was probably panicked for 2 hours, and I can't handle it without some type of help, what would you do

okay i was definitly in a similar situation more then once . And it doesnt matter what your age is when either way your still considered, 'a young mom.' I was 20. I personally find thats just the way some and most hospitals work. Them nurses and doctors are the ones afterall you trust or at least sapose to. So just let them do the job, and relax, because no point in stressing over it.

I will straight up tell them that I have a right over my body (although all the nurses I had were absolutely wonderful with me) and that if they can't act professional and do their job the right way then I will request another nurse to come in, if she says you can't she is lying because you also have a right to refuse service from a specific person (at least where I live you do) In some cases they don't let you because they are shorthanded but all in all you have a right to say no due to lack of professionalism. If not you can allows fill out a slip and report a nurse and go about it that way.

Also if I may ask, why do you hate your life? Shouldn't It be t_tled "I hate nurses" just a question though. Cause I wouldn't let no stuck-up nurse bring me down. She is only winning and proving that you are to young, also when you grow up you are going to have to realize that almost NOTHING is going to go your way and you be in charge, better to learn to live with it now because as you get older it only gets worse and crying on brings you down, if you don't get your way it just shows that you can't handle direction and being 16 going to have a baby that is all you will ever get.

I know it shouldn't have been I hate my life now, but at the point that I posted that I was pretty annoyed, this is the 3rd time a nurse has treated me like this, but my father called and turned her in last night, hopefully no one else will have to deal with her:)
