Personally I wouldn't run at all. It is best to talk to your doctor though. There are many other exercises you can do. Running may jar the body causing miscarriage.

Check the Exercise and Well Being link to the left of this box. During the first trimester the embryo is so small and well protected that you are unlikely to hurt it. Exercise can help maintain your physical and mental tone. Later on, activities like horse-riding and skiing would not be a good idea.

walk not run, and cardio, or swim is great. no jarring the baby.

UH UH...don't run...walk if anything. Swimming is GREAT too..
